Some happy family news!

I'm going to be an aunt again! My sissy and BIL Nick are due sometime this September :)

Mousse

I've got decently good-looking curly hair, those who know me IRL can verify this. It's not like I exit the shower with cool hair though--my native locks look like cotton candy!

Mousse is the key to good curly hair (boo gel, boo John Frieda) I use it to keep the curls under control and have therefore been on a lifelong search for the perfect mousse.

Not too crunchy, keeps curls together, doesn't smell like poison...you know...the uzh.

So here's is what I determined so far in my mousse-using adult life, of products that are still on the market:

Evil Crunchy Mousse:
Herbal Essences (all kinds, smells good, is evil)
Aussie (come now, it is not 1987. crunchcrunchcrunch)
Tressemme (honestly, I was surprised this one didn't work out!)
Fructis (smells wonderful...has a dark evil soul)

Good Softy Mousse (it's a short list, as I do tend to like things the way that I like them):
Dove (the curls one, not the x-tra hold)
Thermasilk (the curls one too. this is my favorite mousse ever! alas, it is very hard to find)
Sunsilk (the apple-green bottle that says something about romantic curls on it. smells good too!)

There, there is some advice and protectioin for you curly-tops, I'll keep you posted :)

A bottle of, conditioner I suppose it was?...or serum?...one of those magic potions that turn one from librarian to sex kitten...anyway...

A bottle of conditioner that said on the front:
Fortifying Fortifier.

Um, well I'm glad, you know, I guess, about that. Cause really, Fortifying Secret Infiltrator or Fortifying Double Agent? That would just bad for us. You know, as a country.

Even Passive-Aggressive Fortifier could really bode poorly.

Fortifying Fortifier. No fooling around as to what that conditioner's all about.

No sir. And me without my cell phone camera, which to those of you who know me in real life must be frightening. Nope, I haven't misplaced my right hand, it was just in the car resting for the next battle...uh I mean charging.

So, this is my first real post from my new smartphone...

Just wait until you see the places I can post from now! I've been gone a little while here, but I'm going to try to get back on the wagon. New SOTDs, more complaining, all new stuff.

I have to go back and read my last posts, but the most newest thing is that I no longer work for Healthcare Company Y, and will hopefully soon have an interview with Healthcare Company Z! Also had an interview with Environmental Company X, which was pretty good too.

Don't have an SOTD for today--haven't been sleeping. But soon...soon...
